Please follow the link below for more details about the London Freshwater Group meeting, March 18th 2016. A programme packed with fab freshwater talks, including one about Lake BESS by Ambroise Baker.
And a link to the Group’s website.
All our readers will be interested in this new research project in which all Lake BESS researchers are involved. We will be taking freshwater landscape-scale conservation into a whole new level!
Hello! This is the first of many blogs from the scientists behind a multi-million pound NERC funded project studying the interactions between connectivity and stressors in freshwater habitats.
We are blogging from our first meeting involving all collaborators on the project at CEH Lancaster (conveniently located halfway between Stirling and London).
We don’t have breaking scientific discoveries just yet, but have been discussing how to best implement and coordinate our study across Britain and efficiently use our areas of expertise.
Stay tuned for news of new team members, where and what we’ll be sampling and general freshwater related musings.
